Look of the Week - Thanksgiving Day - Katie

Tan Faux Leather Handbag | Freshwater Pearl Bracelet Set | Yellow Gold Drop Earrings | Gray Shawl

What makes this combination of items perfect for Thanksgiving Day?

It combines comfort with style. Thanksgiving can be formal depending on where you go, so if you want to look classy but feel comfy, then add a shawl. It looks elegant and can be added to a number of outfits. Since the shawl is the focal point of this look I added a fun bag to draw attention and a few bracelets to compliment.

What is your best advice to give about getting ready for a Thanksgiving look?

Don’t wear anything restricting. Fabrics that stretch are key.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?

My mom is an amazing cook, so I crave everything she does, but her homemade pumpkin pie is incredible.

Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions you do with your family?

We eat our meal in the afternoon and then head out for a hike to enjoy the cool autumn air.

Look of the Week - Thanksgiving Day - Kelsey

Gray Faux Leather Bag | Leaf Print Scarf | Citrine Cluster Ring | Citrine Dangle Earrings

What makes this combination of items perfect for Thanksgiving Day?

This combo works for Thanksgiving because it feels welcoming and homey.

What is your best advice to give about getting ready for a Thanksgiving look?

Again, comfort is key. You’re going to be eating, visiting with family, and watching the game, so being comfortable and showing off your personality with your jewelry and accessories is fun to do with family.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?

I love cranberry sauce! It was always the part of the dinner that I helped with (I’m not much of a cook) and it goes so well with the stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes and perogies we always have. It’s a perfect tangy addition and makes the plate look more beautiful.

Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions you do with your family?

We always go around the table and say something we are thankful for. It can be whatever you want and you have to go into some sort of detail about what/why. It helps us keep that day in perspective!
