Black Goldenite
This version of the gradient starts off as a natural goldenite hornblende, but is then treated to speckle different areas of the gemstone with gold. The treatment causes an intricate pattern, which allows every black goldenite gem to be unique. Its dark color and opacity are usually caused by iron in its structure. Hornblende is sourced from Arizona.
White Goldenite
This form of goldenite is composed of milky white quartz. It is then treated with a gold coating that layers on the stone’s surface, which creates a unique pattern.
Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals on earth and makes up close to 12 percent of the earth’s crust. It occurs in a wide variety of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. It is also the most diverse gemstone in terms of varieties and color forms.
Join us June 17 from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. CT on air and from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. CT for a great deal on our newest rare and exotic gemstone.
