On June 20, The Austin Chamber announced its Greater Austin Business Awards (GABA) finalists. Over 100 Austin-area businesses were nominated for awards from multiple categories. Shop LC was nominated for the Employee Health & Wellness category, to recognize its continuing commitment to employee well-being.
Started in 2000, the GABA program helps celebrate excellence in the local business community, making Austin one of the top destinations to live, work and play – in the world! It is one of the largest awards programs in the region, bringing together over 1000 business leaders, entrepreneurs, organizations, and government officials for its annual awards dinner.
Finalists for the award were determined by a panel of independent judges. GABA award finalists were selected from award categories including Community Relations, Customer Experience, Employee Health & Wellness, Environmental Champion, Innovation, Consumer Product, Executive Leader, Company Culture, International Reach, First-Time Entrepreneur, Non-Profit, and Uniquely Austin.
Finalists and winners from each category will be recognized at an awards ceremony on August 21, at the JW Marriott Austin. This is an event open to the public.
