The seventh Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) is one of the most critical SDGs established by the United Nations. This SDG aims to "Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all." Affordable and clean energy plays a critical role in economic growth and the elimination of poverty in the world.

The facility employs over 3000 employees.
Access to clean energy will help people become educated and productive. Meanwhile, a lack of energy supply results in security and food production issues, affecting small businesses and harming the environment. UN data states that the production of usable energy contributes to 60%. There are enormous benefits of having electricity on an individual level, such as tangible health benefits and financial freedom.
Around 15% of the world population still doesn't have access to energy. UN aims to fill this gap in energy by the year 2030. UN is targeting to increase the percentage of renewable energy. Currently, it accounts for only 15% of the total energy. Renewable energy is the best way to produce energy. It is affordable, reliable, and uses modern methods to generate itself. Wind, water, solar, biomass, and geothermal energy are renewable sources.
Developing or underdeveloped countries will significantly contribute to global energy demand. Un has set 7 targets to make this sound achievable to achieve this goal.
TARGETS FOR GOAL 7 TO ACHIEVE BY 2030
· Ensure universal access to affordable, reliable, and modern energy services.
· Increase sustainability of the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix.
· Double the global rate of improvement in energy efficiency.
· Enhance international cooperation to facilitate access to clean energy research and technology, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and advanced and cleaner fossil-fuel technology, and
·promote investment in energy infrastructure and clean energy technology.
· Expand infrastructure and upgrade technology for supplying modern and sustainable energy services for all in developing countries, in particular least developed countries, small island developing states, and land-locked developing countries, following their respective support programs.
