SHOP LC BREAST CANCER SWEEPSTAKES WINNERS
BREAST CANCER FACTS
According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers. 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. There are over 3.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
However, things are continually improving. The American Cancer Society shows that breast cancer death rates declined 40% from 1989 to 2016 among women. The progress is attributed to improvements in early detection.
“We are grateful for the support from Shop LC to our mission of Helping Women Now”, said Candice Boeck, NBCF Manager of Strategic Partnerships. “Their donation to us will provide help and inspire hope to the women that we serve so that no one navigates breast cancer alone.”
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Shop LC wants to help spread awareness, and the importance of early detection. In partnership with NBCF, Shop LC is launching the National Breast Cancer Awareness Sweepstakes.
From October 4th until October 17th, participants can register each day for an opportunity to win. Entries close on October 17th at 11:59 PM CST. In total, there are 13 prize packages.
