We’re thrilled to share that Shop LC was a proud participant in Austin Fashion Week, demonstrating our firm commitment to engaging with the local community – especially high school students passionate about fashion careers. As one of the event sponsors, we hosted an exciting pop-up shop at The Domain, a trendy hot spot in Austin, where attendees had the chance to explore and snag some unique fashion finds. We can’t wait to see all the fantastic things these budding fashionistas will create in the future!
What is Austin Fashion Week?

Can you believe it? Austin Fashion Week is celebrating its 15th year, and we couldn’t be more excited! This incredible event focuses on showcasing independent and emerging brands through runway shows and pop-up shops, specifically emphasizing those interested in selling directly to consumers. Austin Fashion Week is the 4th largest fashion week concept in the United States!
This event happens twice a year, in the spring and fall, featuring around 50 runway designers and 10-15 pop-up brands each season. These shows happen at The Domain, shutting down the street between Lucchese and Macy’s for an unforgettable experience.

We’re delighted to share that Shop LC didn’t just attend Austin Fashion Week; we also brought our outstanding TAMSY Fashion Collective Program to the event! Our Classroom to Career initiative provides a leg up to high school students passionate about fashion and the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the industry. We’re so excited to help nurture the talent of these up-and-coming fashion stars, and we’re incredibly proud to showcase their incredible work at the fashion show and design competition. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these budding designers!

Did you know? The TAMSY Fashion Collective Program was a huge success at Austin Fashion Week! A total of 27 talented high school students had the incredible opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity on the runway, giving them invaluable experience and exposure to the fashion industry. We’re so proud to be a part of their journey and can’t wait to see where they go from here! And guess what? Our efforts to support and inspire the next generation of fashion professionals have not gone unnoticed!
