Spring Cleaning
Spring is one of my favorite times of the year because of the fresh essence all around. The trees become green again and the weather starts to get warmer. As you switch out your closet for spring and summer you also are transitioning yourself. It is the perfect time to clean out your closet and go through your jewelry and see what is still working for you and what is not.
Personally, my rule is if I have not worn it in the past two years and not falling back in love with it — it’s time to sell or donate. This helps physically and mentally manifest what is to come, what you will be wearing, what you will be doing, and what you want. This also helps you shop smarter! You will see what is lacking in your closet and how you can incorporate new spring jewelry trends with your existing personal inventory.
Hammered Metal Jewelry
This technique adds some interest to what can otherwise be a simple silhouette. Hammering gold, silver, and brass for jewelry dates back centuries. Jewelry designs for range from modern to bohemian. Spring jewelry trends suggest this will be mostly worn as a bangle or cuff bracelet.
Oversized and Long Links
Chains have been trending for a while but this spring it is evolving to be bigger and better with oversized and elongated links. The width and length of the links are getting wider and longer, making a louder statement than ever before! It’s the perfect accessory for zoom calls and any occasion complementing a variety of styles.
Play Ball
This trend builds on the chain trend with geometric designs and a splash of cubism. These heavy metal, spherical jewelry pieces can be found as pendants, bracelets, and earrings — especially drop earrings. But if you are more into studs try large button earrings for a bit of glamour!
Colorful Beaded Beach
This trend has been on the rise and is now at full speed! Bright, colorful beach inspired jewelry is perfect for those warm days and staycations. These designs are youthful and eye-catching with its fun, playful spirit — no bad vibes here! This can be mixed well with our Whimsical Collection. Here’s hoping we’ll all be able to do a beach getaway by summer.
Drop it Low
Long pendants ranging 32 to 36 inches are back! Drop earrings are an easy trend to interpret with any style, including all the trends mentioned earlier. Drop earrings can really level up your outfit and frame your face. Long pendant necklaces can be worn alone or layered a few different lengths.
